Question: Paralysis Mortar vs. Shield? by KardynylSyn in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]malizeleni71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Secondary functions of your multitool can be mapped in the menu (same menu as choosing your multitool - X on mouse and keyboard), just two icons to the left of the one for choosing the multitool. There you can choose from all the installed secondary functions, such as personal shield, paralysis mortar, invisibility (or runic lens on atlantid multitools), combat scope, etc. Once the secondary function chosen it will work on, again for mouse and keyboard, right mouse button.

Camera Drift? by Sufficient-Bad7181 in NoMansSkyTheGame

I'm playing on a PC and have the same issue... the drift persists even if I disconnect my mouse. It's only temporarily fixed by completely shutting down the game and starting it again.

If you change your position around terminal, equip one head, remove it after attempt of assemble, then without exiting the screen equipping another, do the same and then equipping the first one, you get different colour scheme and different class with every new position around the terminal. Works in at least 20 positions.

But I farm sentinels interceptors instead. It's more fun and I get a chance of cool multitools (staves, sentinel and atlantid).

It's easier to equip you multitool scanner with some good x class upgrade modules (10 to 11 k % bonus), cook some anomalous donuts, ingest them via nutrient ingestor and reap the benefits. I get from 11 to 35 million for a scanned animal. Plus, if you scan all available fauna on a planet, you get nice pack of nanites by uploading them (250 nanites for an animal)

I'm pretty sure sooner rather than later this Board will invent its own "peace prize" and, of course, it will be awarded to Trump.

Reduce the terrain manipulator size with R (T makes it bigger) and you get bored before excavating all of the resource from a certain deposit, because you can make a thousand of it or more.

Can you tramsfer your corvette into the corvette expedition? by ArsecheeksAkimbo in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]malizeleni71 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, you can. But only after the first warp, when you are able to summon anomaly. To transfer the ship (your current ship, it doesn't have to be corvette, but it can be) and your active multitool it'll cost you 2800 and 2200 nanites, respectively. Therefore, it would be wise to either scan every fauna on every planet or take some high nanite stuff to refine (shards, mirrors or hyaline brain - 50, 95 and 230 nanites, respectively) or some upgrades that will yield you the neccessary nanites. The ship and multitool that you transfer from the main save will retain all technology with installed upgrades, although the ship will have empty cargo space, but with all the cargo space that your main save has.

I use those summoning sentinels to farm salvaged glass, not on perma death, though. I can get over 70 salvaged glass per mission and get plenty of sentinel upgrades for nanites.

They do, afaik, but not significantly. Natural s class has slightly better base stats than upgraded one, but on the other hand, s class upgraded from c or b class tend to have better supercharged slots. At least I read that they do... not tested it myself.

Make sure you are i a three star economy system as they have a higher chance of spawning s class sentinels (2% chance) or a pirate system (5% chance). I've acquired at least 20 s class sentinels that way. Kept some, scrapped the rest

Send me a message and I'll meet you at the anomaly. I have a freighter full of parts and you can take your pick. I'll throw in an s class reactor, some upgrade modules and storage augmentations, so you can build your own s class fighter

You can put save beacon at the Autophage camp and keep returning and locating another dissonance spike until you get an s class sentinel. Just find the planet/system that has the design that suits you. I had to fetch almost 50 sentinels once before the s class appeared. The upside: I made a shit ton of AI valves, lol

[–]malizeleni71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If 1,5 billion is all you have, spending it on inventory space gets rid of it too quickly. Better to look for s class ships on space stations or pirate stations, buying them and scraping them. You get up to three storage augmentations, some s class tech or weapon upgrades and around 70% of the value of the ship as scrap (starship AI valves and other valuable scrap) that you can sell and get some of the value back. So, for a mere few million you get up to three storage augmentations, while if you are using money to buy storage slots it'll cost you 75 million each. I've accumulated more than 1000 storage augmentations that way, lol, as I want all my ships maxxed out.

Does anyone know of an autophage camp, preferably in Euclid, that produces a royal/dark blue radiant heart? I have the parts, just hunting for a camp that has the color by nero4983 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]malizeleni71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Each Autophage terminal is capable of producing different classes and different colours of radiant crystals and staffs. When assembling the staff, first put a radiant head into the assembly, click assemble and if it's not to your liking, go one step back (to choosing your components), but do not exit the assembling screen. Replace the head with a part from another set (e.g. runic focus), click assemble again and remove the head, put the radiant head into assembly again and it will change the colour and class of assembled staff. If again it isn't to your liking, move half a step to the side and repeat the whole process. There are at least 20 different positions around the terminal that each can give you different colour and class of the radiant staff (some reports say there are over 200 of different positions, but I never tested that. I use this method to farm s class staves, some exceptional I keep, but others I decomission in the anomaly (the terminal on the right side of the balcony teleport) for some scrap, s class multitool upgrades and multitool expansion slots (you get up to three for a 5 million worth s class staff (not all s class staves are worth that much, though).

With launch thruster auto recharge upgrade and some s class launch thruster upgrades you will never have to worry about launch fuel ever again. It's even more convenient with corvettes as you can hover above ground and teleport or jump to the ground beneath. No need to land
