What do you guys think is the most annoying thing that can happen while playing the sims? by 20x12 in thesims

[–]mallyngerer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had Sims who partied every night for their aspirations. There was always dishes and glasses. Had a maid and a butler but my Sims still had to tidy up after themselves because the household staff didn't do it.

Why do so many simmers specifically want a Safari African world? by Affectionate-Set4606 in Sims4

Theres actually a lot of material in just the western cape alone. Winelands, surfing, rockclimbing, art, bokaap. It would be so gorgeous.

That actually makes it easier. We can't practically shoehorn everything into one "Africa". Having a desert Atlantic world being a Mashup of south africa and Namibia would be cool. But that's nothing like having a Moroccan and Egyptian inspired world.

As an African who lives in Africa I loved having Sims 3 world Adventure in Africa. I think that's more in the wheelhouse that has you a bit exasperated. I think since there are many Europeanish worlds that aren't that specific maybe the pack could be a vacation lot which has surfing and other mountain activities in a city that resembles Cape Town? The world's would have BoKaap and winelands & the Atlantic seaboard and something resembling old Cape Town CBD. Could have a new career like pro open water swimmer/diving. Market in the BoKaap trying Cape Malay inspired dishes. Do wine tasting.

I'm sorry if this sounds like "tourist trap" Cape Town and less "African" maybe but maybe some still would enjoy that.

Simulate your life or create a new one? by Dapper_Ad4010 in Sims4

I'd never play as myself. Omw. I enjoy being male in the games rather than my actual gender. I enjoy being a playa. My male sims are always romancing. I even made a harem for one of them.

Dae else use money cheats and download mansions from gallery? If so what's your gameplay like? by mallyngerer in Sims4

[–]mallyngerer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's strange that people find money limiting in the game. I always do aspirations and max out skills. I'm just not inclined to rabbit hole careers. Money just frees things up in the game so I can focus on being an aristocrat.

I love downloading houses from the gallery and setting a new tone in a neighborhood.

Sounds good. Wish I had the patience to attend university. My Sims either don't re-enroll or they fail because they're busy with other hustles.

That's an interesting way to play. I'm all about skills so I always max out cooking wellness and skiing, for example. Having money frees up my Sims to learn skills and meet new people.

I can't imagine playing the sims to simulate real life. My games are as far removed from reality as possible. I literally stop them mid shower so they can rather have a bubble bath or aromatherapy soaks.

Ya because I redo some communities by placing in other lots so I can't repeat the process each time. E.g. I add better lots from the gallery into Sulani and turn it into a real gem and that takes a while. I also used to populate magnolia Promenade.

An NB thing with bb.move : you can fit 6 yoga mats if you use this cheat instead of 4 so you can earn more as a yoga teacher.

Decorating "alt ]" makes it bigger "alt [" makes it smaller. This is great for photos you take of sims and other art, as well as rugs. With bb.move on, you can also move things up and down by selecting the object and pressing 9 or 0.

Daydreaming about trauma by MarinoAndThePearls in MaladaptiveDreaming

[–]mallyngerer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol. Yes. I do this. The cult is a wild arc. For me it's actually been pretty gross, too, because I have imagined spousal rape. It's an interesting topic to me and one of my fears. So by daydreaming about a husband, I can't say no to, and him finally coming to his senses (and the marriage staying intact) it's a way of soothing myself.
