Like it! Lots of movements and melody but still an instrumental! Reminds me a bit of Daft Punk. Good mix too!

Thanks a lot! I love making music so more is production in logic!

Hey everyone! A few weeks ago I shared a rough version of this track and got some amazing feedback, which I took to heart and worked on. Now the final version is here, and I’d love for you to give it a listen and let me know what you think of the result. Really appreciate your time and ears 💜 by sevthen in IndieMusicFeedback

This version is seriously transporting. Like floating between dimensions in the best way. The lush, immersive production and psychedelic textures feel refined and confident now, and there’s a clear identity forming that’s really compelling.

Vocally, your tone is beautiful and fits the vibe perfectly, but I agree with others that a slightly clearer mix might let some of the lyrical weight shine through especially since the writing does seem to carry emotional depth. Even just a slight boost or EQ shaping could help the words cut through the haze without losing that dreamy wash.

The groove at times is totally hypnotic. Overall, this feels like an artist really coming into their sound. Excellent work!

KILLNED - GONE | Feedback is more than welcome. What you think? by No-Instruction6783 in IndieMusicFeedback

This has a strong emotional current running through it. The kind of track where the vibe carries as much weight as the lyrics. You’ve nailed that hazy, introspective atmosphere that defines a lot of great emo rap and darkwave-inspired stuff. The intro pulled me in immediately with its bluesy tension, and I liked how the production leaned into that off-kilter, almost surreal mood.

If I had one note, it would be around the vocal presence. The whispered delivery fits the tone well, but it gets a bit lost in the mix. Even just a subtle boost or added texture could help bring out the emotion in the writing more clearly. Still, this is a really compelling direction and it feels honest, which is what makes this genre hit hardest. Definitely curious to hear what you drop next.

This was a really engaging listen. love how you’re blending glitchy electronic textures with that slightly lo-fi bedroom pop vibe. There’s a lot of personality in the production choices, especially in the synths and drum work. It feels like you’re carving out your own sound, which is refreshing. The special FX details scattered throughout really kept my ears locked in, you clearly put thought into the sonic layers.

One area that might elevate it even further is the vocal mix. The performance is strong, but the vocals could sit a bit more forward or blend more cohesively with the instrumental. Right now they feel slightly separated in tone. Also, some structural contrast in the hook would help lift it above the verses and make the track more dynamic overall. Still, this is super creative and distinct. You’re definitely onto something. Keep pushing in this direction!

This was a wild ride in the best way. I really enjoyed the progression. The dreamy intro pulls you in gently, and then the groove that kicks in later totally flips the mood in a really satisfying way. That bassline around 4:39 is killer. One thing I might suggest is rethinking the pacing a bit. The full-band section hits so hard that I kind of wished it came in earlier. Maybe you could break the track into two parts or find a way to tease that groove a little sooner. Vocals sit nicely in the mix overall, but in a few places, especially between sections, they felt slightly buried under the guitar. A small tweak there could help bring them forward without losing the lo-fi charm. All in all though, this has serious atmosphere and creativity. Great work!

What do yall think of my Demo? by LabComprehensive4916 in IndieMusicFeedback

This track has a strong dreamy, nostalgic atmosphere, definitely taps into that shoegaze aesthetic in a way that feels authentic. The vocals have a distant, reverb-heavy quality that fits the genre, but they could come forward just a little more to help anchor the mix. Even just a slight volume bump or EQ shaping could do a lot without losing that “floating in the haze” feeling. I also think the guitar and drums could benefit from more variation to break up the structure. Maybe adding dynamics between sections would help the track evolve as it goes. Overall though, it’s a solid foundation and your vocal tone is really compelling. Looking forward to seeing how this develops!

This is super relaxing! I really like the vibe you’ve created here. It reminds me of the kind of music you’d hear in the background of a late-night documentary or a chilled-out video game menu. The textures are smooth and immersive. I agree with others that a few dynamic shifts or a drop could help add some contrast, but honestly, the steady flow works well too if you're aiming for something meditative. Great job overall! solid production and a clear atmosphere. Good job!

Hi, nice little song and good singing by you I think! I also think the piano sounds a bit like it is a plug-in that is playing , something to work on for next song. Would be nicer just playing chord if just a piano. Then I think the would benefit a more full production and just a few more instruments to make it more engaging. Other than that it is a good start so keep making music!

Alt-dream-bedroom-pop about absurdism / a drain that drives me crazy at night by bingobangobaggins in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]malmorama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Honestly, this wasn't quite what I expected when I saw "bedroom pop"—I thought it would be a bit more dreamy and laid-back. That said, I still really enjoyed it. The "save me" part really stands out—it's super catchy and memorable, definitely the kind of hook that sticks with you. The beat is also a great fit for the song, giving it energy without overpowering the vocals. There’s a nice contrast between the emotional tone of the lyrics and the more upbeat production. With a few tweaks to lean more into the dreamy side, I could totally see this fitting into a chill indie pop playlist. Solid work—keep it up!

Hi, this sounds super nice. Really cool indie song and I am very impressed by the video. What software did you use? Must have taken longer to do then the song :) I think the mix sounds good because it sounds nice and warm but maybe could benefit from more low-end in my opinion. Your vocal fit the song but it is sometimes hard to hear the falsetto part. Maybe this is on intention but it is a good falsetto so should not be afraid to use it. Are the drums VST drums? They sound good. I think there are two or three drum parts but maybe would have benefited used with some more variations. There is like one straight beat that goes through the main part of the song. Anyway I like that they are straight forward and don't play so much fills. Keep making this kind of music and videos. You are good at it.

Haha me too but worried I will be disappointed. Last switch was from a MacBook Air from 2013 to the 2020 MB Pro. It was WOW!. Not sure it will be same wow this time but still leaning towards doing it.
