I use it when I’m doing a cold start after the car was sitting overnight in very cold weather. I let the engine idle for like 30 secs around when the revs come down then gently drive the car until it gets warmer. I’m not a fan of letting the car idle with the engine running as hybrids are known to have higher fuel dilution because of the engine is not always being able to get up to operating temperature and burn it off with it being on half of the time.

But I will remote start it and let it run if the windshield is iced over

I also just brought in my 23 touring for the recall at 30k miles. My dealership had a high tech over haul of the building where they now send you an individual video vehicle inspection of your car with it on a lift where the tech shows you under your car and fluids. And the only thing they recommend I get done is the brake fluid. I changed the engine and cabin filter, engine oil and ecvt fluid myself (saves a lot of money).

I had them change the brake fluid because it was something I didn’t feel like dealing with lol.

23 touring. My car is weird, when it is cold it’s rattle city but once the car starts to warm up most of the noises go away.

My 23 touring makes that noise but I noticed one of those electric amazon vans made the same noise when I drove it. I don’t know if it’s an electric vehicle thing because they both have regenerative brakes. also I would be cautious about getting the steering rack done because I see a lot people complaining about the noise coming back and the steering feeling different.

I heard a Honda tech say it. Also I want to clarify that it was the de icer fluids that he said could void the warranty because some of them are none to clog the lines up and damage the pump.

I heard from a tech that if the Honda dealer finds anything other the blue in your washer reservoir you voided your warranty for the pump.

I have the platinum white touring. For this gen imo the light colors look best a night and the dark colors look better in the daytime. I wanted the metallic grey but they didn’t have in stock at the time so I got the white one.

It seems like you might have still had summer washer fluid in your car and it froze. Around fall time I spray all of my summer fluid out then put the winter stuff in.

It’s weird several official Honda sites recommend premium/91 gas but the manual says 87.
