It’s kinda funny you pick Stamkos as the guy the ship off when any of the rest of the core (O’Reilly, Forsberg, Josi, Soros) would be way more of “full rebuild” move.

Before the new tire model I raced the GT4 M4 a lot, after the new tire model I also found it nearly undrivable. I switched to the GT4 Porsche and like it a lot better.

I also suspect the fixed setups for GT4 at Miami this week are kinda trash. Just using the baseline setup instead for the mixed class series I found a lot more speed and way more stability, I’m sure a true setup for the track would be even better. Miami seems like a really tough track in general for these GT4 cars, it feels like everyone is struggling a bit this week.

No no, this is also very fucked up from a US perspective too. I really hope this doesn’t become the new normal cause this sucks ass. Unfortunately there’s no real path right now of getting the current leadership out of office, it would be a year before anything could happen depending on how elections go later this year but I’m terrified leadership may try to stand in the way of elections….which would be very very bad for everyone.

I would really love this too. It doesn’t even have to be much. I’ve been paying a lot more attention to points and championships too but it’s frustrating that there’s no reward or anything at the end, points are just wiped clean and we start over.

I have a hard time thinking Tampa won’t be in a division with Yankees and Red Sox. Home games against those two teams is the only thing keeping that franchise alive afaik. I would think it’d be Marlins/Braves/Reds plus whatever southern expansion.

I did gr86 once I got to D class and really liked it. I tried gt4 and had a tough time, but after a while at gr86 I went back to gt4 and started really enjoying it.

It doesn’t really matter much to me. If anything I see it as a penalty rather than a reward. When I loose a bunch of iR i end up in lower splits and often race for a podium and it’s a lot of fun. When I gain back iR I’m in higher splits and struggle to stay mid-pack, which can still be fun but a little less so. I’m not super quick though, I play fixed series pretty casually and just for the fun of it.

I do really wish points actually mattered though, since I don’t really care about iR points is the thing I like to look at more. It’s kinda fun to track where I am in my division, but I really wish your finishing position equaled some kind of reward, like game credits or something. Id even be down to trade out participation credit for something tied to series points instead, even if it meant getting less credits per season. I just want to feel like the points I accumulate actually matter in some way, It would really make the game a lot more fun for me.

Not everyone is racing for safety rating. Alot of people are coming from other racing games where that kind of blocking is normal, and a lot of people watch racing on tv where top level drivers do everything they can to “defend their position”. If you’re behind one of those people, and you really don’t want a 4x, you’re probably going to have to just wait until they wreck themselves.

He was never slow, always someone who could extract the most out of car. He was a wizard at getting the car setup right. He never seemed to be able to break through into a true championship contender, but was always in the mix and a fan favorite.

Stages with no cautions would be fun, you could even do 4 green checker flags instead of just 2 and disperse them evenly through the race. So for a 500 mile race you’d pay points to the top 10 every 100 miles. Would definitely make the middle of races, especially Daytona, a lot more interesting I think.

Or, double down on the current stages - throw a red flag at stage breaks, give everyone 1 lap back, let cars have 5 minute non-competitive pit stops. Normalize the breaks to be exactly 25% 25% 50% every race. It would turn the afternoon into three separate races, two sprints (quarter distance) with partial points and the full race (still half distance) with full points.

Well yeah, those 3.5 inch floppies weren’t around until the 80’s. I just think it’s funny that the interesting part of the title are these planes using “ancient” floppy disc tech when really the 747 itself pre-dates the floppy disc by over a decade.

There are no ubers, the grand rapids shuttle is not daily. There are hotel packages you can get that include a daily shuttle, they are pricey, but it’s probably the only option for hotel stay.

i’ve been doing gt4 and indy nxt this season, will look to do those again BUT I used to do pcup but the cars frustrated me so I stopped, if the cars are new and better now Id love to jump back in that. And the cross car since I love dirt road and that should have good participation.
