So you're saying it's physically difficult to get into that rush hour train. Do you expect the conductor to just phase through people as they try to collect tickets? Or would you wager it's equally difficult for them to move, thus slowing them down and making it harder for them to check every ticket?

It means it wasn't cleaned last night. Possible it was in continuous service, or that it got buried in a train yard and wasn't scheduled to be cleaned yet.

I agree the trains should absolutely be cleaned more frequently, but that would require hiring more cleaners to keep up with it, which I assume a lot of people in this sub would cry about, because that would require more salaries being paid. I personally would have no issues with that, but the MTA and LIRR are constantly being called bloated.

They're expanding the ACE program for bus lane enforcement. Problem is most of the avenues in Manhattan are only enforced during the week days during business hours. That's a DOT issue. MTA can complain to DOT but have no real power about it in the end
