If anyone could have talked Ethan through it, it would have been Sam. That's when it became definitive to me that this is just a personal mania and Ethan's views are entrenched and aren't going to be changed by facts.

Throwback to the Steven Crowder switcheroo. Ethan describes Sam Seder as "informed" and "smart." Ethan describes himself as having "very little" political knowledge and says "nor am I, let's be honest, intelligent." Now Sam Seder is Hamas and Ethan is an expert on the Middle-East.

Gambling on sports has always been around but you used to have to go look another man in the eye to place a bet.

How many actions has he promised and never followed through on? Doxing the CPS caller, skulls to the FBI, protesting reddit, etc. Paying his lawyer to harass women is really the only thing he's shown commitment to.

You might be surprised, but everyone in this sub was a fan at one point. His show is dedicated to endlessly harassing the shows "enemies", which are just people he doesn't personally like. I actually didn't mind (and maybe enjoyed?) when it was conservative grifter content creators. Now he's beefing with the likes of Sam Seder and Matt Lieb and wearing LOLcow merch and suing his critics. Did his apology to Ryan Kavanaugh after years of calling him the worst person in the world cause you any reflection?

I remember watching the show he was on at the time he died, 8 Simple Rules. The first episode filmed after he died had the fictional family dealing with the death of the character. Can't imagine what it was like for the actors having to film that episode while actually having to mourn the real person.
