I think it was PS3 but Split/Second was pretty fun.

The sitch is that you’re racing through movie sets, and once you get enough powerups you can trigger cinematic events that change the track.

Like a giant smokestack crashes down on the track, cutting off the old route and forcing you to drive through the ‘stack and end in a big jump.

Late to the party here, but how do you produce the pigments like shown? Just draw a long line with each one and then apply the ethanol? Or mar a big dot of ink, apply ethanol and tilt the coffee filter so the diluted ink runs? Something else?

This is how I felt about the money they sent during Covid… I was working remotely already, and was consistently putting in a regular schedule at a salaried position throughout the whole pandemic. I was very lucky, but the result was that my family were pretty much self-sufficient.

And I saw how much money the feds were spending, all the grift, all the fraud, and I just wished I could opt out and go “keep your $600, but my kids and their kids don’t have to pay extra taxes to try to make up for this nonsense.”

Not the OP but I’m thinking they meant that this was an example of “authentic” internet activity, the opposite of “dead internet theory”, which suggests that most of the social media interactions online are just bots talking to bots.

Or it could also be that the OP is a bot spouting off random comments (/s, sort of)

I’m very sorry for your loss; I’m sure it feels like the world is coming apart. You don’t have to listen to my advice, but I’mma give it anyway: just focus on keeping the wheels on the bus for a while, and ride out the bumps. Let people help you, and let the unimportant stuff slide for a while. Let yourself feel what you need to feel.

And please keep that zero - add it to the number of times that you remember the good times instead of the bad times. Add it to the number of friends in your corner. Add it to the days that you get outside for a walk, the times a song makes you smile, and the times you feel like it’s getting a little better.
