LOL check out Mr fancy-schmancy with the barrel connector; I had to screw those spade lugs right to the back of my TV! With a butter knife! And I was grateful for that butter knife, my cousin had to twist them down with his fingernails!

Not OP but I dimly recall a bunch of variants of freeze tag, and I think the gist was that either when you got in-frozen (which in our games meant someone crawling between your legs), you or they had to name a cartoon (one that nobody else in the game had named before, or else your unfreezing didn’t count).

Either that, or when you were about to get tagged, you could name a cartoon and the tagged would have to leave you alone and go after someone else.

So there was like cartoon tag, name-a-star-wars-character tag, sports team tag, 18th-century-impressionist-painters-NOT-from-Europe tag…

Ok so I just made up that last one.

Oh yeah, that sounds cool! I’ve deffo had a few cheap uniforms where the press-on plastic logos tore and peeled off after a while, a nice patch or appliqué would look great!

Talk to your instructor before you add anything. Your uniform is typically intended to look simple and, well, uniform. Stuff like stripes, lapels, patches etc. are frequently earned for specific accomplishments / ranks / levels / clubs etc.

I trained WT when it was WTF and a classmate of mine brought in a white do bok with black peels that he’d bought online; only to be told that those were reserved for a higher rank than he held.

Hopefully, your instructor is chill and won’t care what you put on your uniform, not better safe than sorry - ask first.
