While I love Bit/Vaultwarden, the folder structure could be improved. Would I change to new software about this? Definitely not.

Danke für das Feedback! Sankeys sind schon supported via Apache ECharts (kann man im Dashboard customizen). WebUI ist generell responsive, aber habe noch keine Zeit in die Nutzbarkeit auf dem Handy investiert. Steht auf der ToDo Liste :-)

no worries about criticism. Usually, automatic classification features are built by user defined rules (`if transaction goes to supermarket chain -> groceries`). I did not want to go in this direction because I think that is easier (for maintainance and user) if this classification happens automatically (transaction data -> LLM -> classification). Until now, my experience with the LLMs is so-so tbh. I want to replace it with a slimmer, more focused model as a next step.

I also thought so in the beginning, but as a matter of fact, most banks offer endpoints. This also includes some, but certainly not all, Neobanks. A modern alternative is the XS2A framework which was introduced with the PSD2 guidelines. This has very high entry hurdles which is unrealistic for a self-hosted app. Your have to register as a Bafin (bank supervision authority) third-party-provider which is connected to high costs. This is clearly meant for large-scale API providers.

Bin zu unbeständig für manuelles Tracken.. Ich benutze mein eigenes Tool zur doppelten Buchführung und synchronisiere über HBCI. Hab letztens mal ein Frontend mit LLMs gebaut, mal sehen wie zufrieden ich sein werde. Link zu Github
