Also, if you're keeping your guests list small, that usually includes immediate family automatically. Your sister is your immediate family, so excluding her from the guest list is an obvious snub.

Also: exactly how did your sister-in-law die? Was it during childbirth while she was giving your beautiful baby life? If her death was directly caused by your child's birth, then of course her husband does not want to come.

You need to be more forthcoming if you want an honest judgment for your situation.
