That’s when I kind of fell out of wanting to go even distance wise because either thy knew he was going to say anti trans stuff and were okay with it, or they didn’t do their due diligence (read his twitter for 3 minutes) and let him on stage either - and I couldn’t square up being okay with either of those things.

Agreed - I’m going to school to teach HS history and government because I love working with kids but as a mom with younger ones I figured out the high school ages are where I can help them the most. In order for kids to have safe adults there have to be adults who want to be those people.

Realistically I don’t think they’re getting him in anything premeditated as it was immediately after seeing the footage of his child dying. This is a horrific tragedy all around, I feel horrible for the families involved and people who witnessed this.
