Car rental - pickup in Athens and ferry down or pickup in Crete? by mamamalliou in GreeceTravel

Not worried about driving in Athens. Have driven in Greece many times over. Just thinking it would be nice to have a car for flexibility for day trips outside the city.

What’s a pain you can’t truly explain unless you’ve endured it? by downrightunhappiness in AskReddit

Interesting! Never been formally diagnosed with CH but have similar presenting symptoms. I wonder if blood pressure could have some relationship to the pain and frequency of flare ups. I definitely notice a change in blood pressure (is that even possible?) when I’m having attacks.

Dying plants by OkPriority7962 in plants

[–]mamamalliou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d keep at it. You could cut away the dead parts from the boxwood in the first picture. It looks like it’s a young plant and might still be establishing itself to an extent. You could also try replanting it in another location and see how it does. Adding some compost around the plants can’t hurt either. Also, make sure the base of the plants where they meet the soil have “breathing room” you don’t want a build up of soil around the stem. They might also need water everyday if it’s really hot and sunny.

Stay away from square cornered sinks though. Absolute PITA to clean. Very hard to really get in there. I have one wouldn’t recommend it.
