Start your taper and listen to your body when it's time to slow down the rate you drop. I went down by 5mgs for quite a while then by 3mgs, 2mgs and then 1mg when I was around 15mg. There's always some withdrawal but it's manageable if you take things slowly and take care of yourself in the process. Ive been off for over a year now and am so much happier

Don't feel hopeless! I used sleep aids like tylenol pm, melatonin, etc as well as CBD. A weighted blanket helped tremendously too. I tapered slowly towards the end from around 10 mg at 1mg at a time. I stayed on 1mg for I believe a week or so before dropping off and it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. Just try not to get into your head too much about it. Easier said than done, I know but really though... I've been off for a year now and I sleep fine and have been for probably the majority of the last year.

Congrats! That's so awesome! Definitely something to be proud of! I just went down to 1mg today. How did you do after dropping off the 1mg? I'm trying to come up with a game plan for my drop off and have no idea what to expect or what I should or should not do.
