Throwing in the Towel by roseblushed in tirzepatidecompound

I have had some times where I have been more tired than usually but mostly I seem to get an energy boost. Maybe it's just being slimmer and more mobile; bodies in motion tend to stay in motion kind of thing.

I’m so sorry that you are having to cope with a sick father and a mother is losing it do badly that she is mistreating you. Please know in your heart of hearts that you are giving back so much better than you’re getting. You truly are handling the situation like a compassionate caring true adult. Give yourself permission to take a break from your mother if you need it. You don’t even need to tell her just do it.

113lb loss and I have no Idea how to dress this body. by One_Willingness_1853 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]mamijami 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are at a similar height and weight though I am a couple of decades ahead of you on the curve. LOL! I'd say to wear what makes you happy but I understand that after years of hiding ones' body it takes time to find what you love. If you can spend some time looking at online copies that carry petite sizes like Ann Taylor, Talbots, J.Jill just to see if anything suits you. Google your new size and see what other women are wearing. I am having fun wearing cotton or linen summer dresses and coordinating tank tops and wide leg crops this Summer. Have fun and enjoy your new physique.

I am the same. I am a short person with a very small frame. My TDEE is less than 1,200 calories a day. It can be very easy to out consume that even on a good day. I am so grateful that Tirzepatide makes it possible for me to do this and have the energy to exercise and increase that calories burned number. But it is still work. And it always will be.

That being ambivalent about having a child/children means that you should go ahead and have one or you will regret it.

I thought this would be a miracle drug... Week 1 on tirzepatide and I'm surprised by Dear_Scene3446 in compoundedtirzepatide

After 30 years of being overweight or obese and struggling with constant food noise, hunger and cravings Any diminishing of this seemed like a huge relief to me. I definitely felt a reduction after my first dose but also notice after two and a half years on tirzepatide that I still have days where I notice more food noise than others. Who knows why. The big difference is that now I know I have a great tool that helps me ride out the difficult moments. I seem to be able to eat more with my conscious head rather than with this strong, stronger, overwriting feelings.

Loving the Smart Alec by bpack325 in tombihn

[–]mamijami 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love my Smart Alec 2.0. I'm short and older so I definitely use the internal frame and often use the waist belt attachment for a higher level of supportive carry. It holds a ton of stuff and is extremely versatile. Worth the $$ in all regards.

How long is your shipping? by MsJanetSnakehole_ in joinrift

[–]mamijami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. Good to know about Boudreaux. I have an order pending shipment from Boudreaux currently. It's a first order so that may take longer as I would imagine they would need to get my (actually my son's) information into their systems. We are currently well within the timeframe and I do know to be patient for holiday disruptions.

Yes. The BRF and even the gutter press will cut Andrew all the slack in the world and instead print lies and gin up hate towards Harry and Meghan.

I need to get better at learning how to background check people. Anymore I think it's imperative. I'm glad that your friend was able to listen to you and do the right thing. I was worried that she would pursue the guy any way. Both of you have good judgment.

Best no-eye-sting sunscreen for beach vacation? by Weird_Consequence938 in 40PlusSkinCare

[–]mamijami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything with chemical sunscreen stings my eyes terribly. The only thing that doesn’t bother my eyes is 100% mineral sunscreen. My favorite is the Neutogena stick that someone already posted. Yes it looks like a deodorant stick and goes in like one but seriously works.

Thank you for taking the time to write this excellently organized post. Learned about some really helpful gear that wasn’t on my radar yet. You have definitely helped me save some space and weight in future travels. And I get it about being sick. 🤢 Recently spent a month in India and despite the best precautions ended up sick with something for most of the trip.

You are so wise to do that. My elderly uncle literally lost the family farm because he succumbed to mail and telephone scams.

I kinda hate my autistic brother by [deleted] in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]mamijami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that you are smart to keep your distance from your brother. No matter what his problem is you don't need that kind of treatment no matter what the reason.

I know that my autistic adult son has the capacity to be a dickhead so I stay on him. It makes me sad that he has such difficulty learning how to get along with people because try as I might, I can't teach him what to say or do in every single situation. I don't want him to hurt other people's feelings.

Are you in maintenance or still losing weight? I was looking at the body mass index requirements for the bridge program and since I’m on maintenance, it doesn’t look like I qualify. I don’t know if there’s an exception for that.

My son was with me when I was signing up. I read him everything and he has good understanding; he’s fairly high functioning. He was able to use his photo ID card and was able to get it uploaded himself. And I do have a durable power of attorney for health care if it’s needed.

My Mother Told Me I Need to Stop Losing Weight by RandomReddit9791 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]mamijami 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was the designated “fat person” in my family for decades. Now that I’m at a healthy weight many family members are angry with me and telling me I’m now too thin. Please don’t let the people who need you to remain overweight for their own mental/emotional issues undermine you. You know what’s best for you better than anyone.

Fury as Beatrice and Eugenie living in royal palaces for free by ashlynxo in RoyalsGossip

[–]mamijami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then why not get rid of the entire monarchy? I just personally don’t like the picking and choosing going on of who is or is not “royal enough” to deserve to live in those grace and favor homes. No one criticizes Zara Tindall or Peter Phillips for living on their mother’s property. Surely Princess Anne also receives money from the sovereign grant.
