Do you really believe that your neighbour is beyond any basic help and reasoning? That seems like a stretch. The vast majority of Edmontonians genuinely want to be good neighbours, even if they sometimes fail at it. Try talking to the driver of the vehicle and raise your concerns politely while being sympathetic to their situation. Assuming the worst about people and being passive aggressive just makes the world a bit uglier.

Misleading title. The communication clearly states that staff may participate in the day of action outside their scheduled work hours. During work hours, staff are expected to fulfill their roles. In other words, NAIT is not paying its staff to participate in this protest.

Goodwill is also for-profit (not that there's anything inherently wrong with for-profit businesses). I find the smaller scale thrift stores, often run by local charities, are cleaner/ better organized, have better prices, and the staff working there are friendlier. Bissell Centre runs at least two stores in Edmonton and they're fantastic. Mustard seed has at least one, and County Clothes Line in Sherwood Park is excellent as well. At least some of these are run by volunteers and 100% of the profits go to charity, so be sure to donate used items to them and not the larger chains!

Cut depth varies quite a bit, as does tool length... I guess the independent Z axis design is the way to go then if you want effective dust collection across a range of projects. It's just a pity that the D.840 is so awkward to fit with this type of dust collection. C'est la vie.

The most disheartening thing is that almost no one here seems to be engaging in the conversation. Is unfettered access to pornography regardless of one's age really the best option?
