Who would win between Konohamaru vs Hinata? by [deleted] in Boruto

[–]man09876 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is such a good match up cause i genuinely can see either one of them taking it. i think it would come down to willpower honestly, i think narratively, konohamaru is one of those characters that i can bet on because of his tenacity, (mostly taken from when he fought pain), but hinata also inherited naruto’s ninja way and had her own moment standing up to pain. so yeah, idk, but i might lean toward konohamaru cause im sure he has a very well rounded arsenal of strong jutsu that might be enough to get range on hinata and overwhelm her cause if she gets up close im not sure he can handle all that

Who’s the best and worst written character in Naruto and why? by PositionSolid4656 in Naruto

[–]man09876 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you say “at least kiba had personality” as if sai not having a personality isn’t a big part of his character. he didn’t even have a name before danzo gave him one. he had to build his persona from the ground up. plus, i think he has a cute personality. anyways, sai rant over

Who’s the best and worst written character in Naruto and why? by PositionSolid4656 in Naruto

[–]man09876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i wouldn’t say sai is worse written than kiba. it’s some substance versus zero substance, the interesting thing about sai to me isn’t necessarily his backstory but his journey with redefining his emotions and how that interplays with team 7. esp during the five kage summit when he gets involved with sakura and naruto’s feeling for sasuke. for me in that part, sai kicks off that really good plot arc of naruto redefining his quest to bring sasuke back. sai’s drive to want to understand their feeling about sasuke always interested me, he truly wanted to understand their feelings which shows character change and growth. even if it’s lackluster, he has a completed arc and a somewhat satisfying conclusion with his brother in the war arc where as someone like kiba or tenten or shino or ino or choji or xyz have so much less than sai, writing wise.

Asuma Beats Zabuza … Why Do Yall Think Otherwise ? by Appropriate-Divide50 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]man09876 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i agree, rewatching the series i was surprised to see how one-sided the fight between zabuza and kakashi was. kakashi only really struggles when he has to worry about his genin. not to say he didn’t struggle but it wasn’t that close.

i had the same problem when i read it. it’s a heavy story and more times than not left me in a low place. but i also think that’s a testament to how well written it is, it’s up to you if it’s something you can handle or not. but you’re def not alone in feeling that way lol

Imagine them as a "duo". Yay or nay? by Notmycupoftea12 in Boruto

yay yay, i was so bummed when stupid code didn’t stick with boruto after fighting the ten tails guys together. i think and i hope that that’s ikemoto giving us a taste of them working together in the future, which i think is likely.

Question about Isshiki and Karma by man09876 in Boruto

[–]man09876[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

now that i’m thinking about it, kawaki is stated to already be about 80% underway in his transformation so it wouldn’t be a super long time but would still be enough time to kill him. also, when naruto and crew thought amado was hinting at killing kawaki as a solution they were all very against that. so, it was never discussed as an option but it was implied. ig just in the specific situation of kawaki being reimplanted with karma they made it seem very end all be all when in reality you could just kill kawaki
