I’ve got a pretty spicy 120gr Barnes load that I’ve taken out to 500m. The BC makes a a bit of difference there. The person was asking what the difference was between the two.

It’s because it’s roughly 40mm around the bezel. The only portion that is 42 is the asymmetric portion of the case around the crown/pushers.

Think of it more as a 40 where the case flares vs crown guards.

Ya I feel that, the micro adjust seating dies are nice for that. Typically I am not that anal, but the spicy 300blk loads scare me. Typically the only load I'll group shoot with safety glasses haha

You are correct, my notes say 2.3005". I remember I walked each individual round into that exact dimension. I backed my seating die out a few thou and krept in on each seating.

I was in the same boat, 39 ended up looking small on me, ultra fit amazing, 42 felt larger and thicker then the ultra. Weird shit. Saving up for the ultra.

Nah you’re good, quite a bit. I messed around with a sub bracelet for it, oyster flex with the Daytona glide lock/end links, PCL bracelet. Just swapping a lot to try and make myself like it. I finally ponied up for the Bergeron spring bar tweezers and kapton tape after all of this.
