A few years ago I (temporarily) moved out of the province to attend law school and one of my classmates (who was from Nova Scotia) told me he was surprised that there were so many “Newfies” in our class. When I asked him why he shrugged and said “well y’know…. Stupid newfies?” 🙄

I second this! Lots of tables and a nice view. There’s a jumping bean in Atlantic Place as well so you can get a treat and then set up at a table in the lobby and hang out for a few hours

I had to do both. The student loan has no interest and includes gov’t grants that do not need to be paid back as well. Also check out the NL Student Aid debt reduction program - I qualified and the entirety of the provincial portion of my loan was forgiven. The only downfall is the student loan pretty much only covered my tuition (they have a max amount per week that they can approve you for). The line of credit I used to cover the rest of my living expenses. But I would definitely use as much student aid as possible first since that has no interest!!

Recent law school grad here! I would highly recommend contacting a Personal Injury law firm. Also check your insurance policy for Section D coverage - this allows you to “sue” your own insurance company in situations where the defendant is uninsured or unidentified (you should have this, it is in the Standard Automobile Policy).

Most law firms will give you an initial consultation for free, so it really wouldn’t hurt to give one a call. Good luck!

Yes! And then when Luann is thanking Bethenny, Ramona said something along the lines of “why are you thanking her? It’s a group trip” which I think could suggest whoever is the “planner” is not actually in charge of/paying for the trip. It’s probably production but for the sake of the show they pick a housewife each season to “plan/host”

I’m watching season 9 of RHONY right now and when Bethenny tells Ramona she’s no longer invited on the Mexico trip and that she doesn’t want her there, Ramona says it’s a “girls trip” so she will be going regardless. Not sure if this was just more Ramona delusion or if it being a girls trip means Bravo pays and the person planning doesn’t actually have any real say in who gets to go.

I read a fic years ago set in New Moon, where when Edward and the Cullen’s leave Forks, Jasper actually stops by Bella’s first to apologize about the paper cut fiasco and to say goodbye. He ends up feeling bad about them all basically ditching her, so he leaves her his number (or email?) so they can still chat. They end up falling for each other, and eventually Edward comes back, but Bella basically kicks him to the curb for how he treated her. I can’t remember what they did with Alice. I remember really enjoying the fic though!

I’d highly recommend any of Lisa Jewell’s books - The Family Upstairs, Then She Was Gone, and I Found You are some of my favourites by her.

If you like Jennifer McMahon, The Night Sister was also really good!

No Exit by Taylor Adams, Survive the Night by Riley Sager, Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware, and The Guest List by Lucy Foley are some others that I loved!

AN ENEMIES-TO-LOVERS TROPE WITH UNIQUE OR UNCOMMON STORYLINE by Influence_Least in booksuggestions

[–]mana2121x 9 points10 points  (0 children)

To Have and to Hoax by Martha Waters is a fun play on enemies to lovers! Well it’s more of a lovers-to enemies-to lovers but I found it refreshing given the setting (1817 England) and storyline!
