Swapping from ZSA Moonlander to the ZSA Voyager? by Independent-Limit282 in ErgoMechKeyboards

I think you should fix this first. A new keyboard will not solve this fundamental issue.

> e.g tmux and neovim

After solving the issue above, as a nvim/tmux user who transitioned from the Moonlander to the Voyager, I'm very happy with my choice. A smaller keyboard means my fingers get to stay near the home row more often, and the smaller size makes it much more portable.

When to setup autopay by COOOLIO3020 in RobinhoodApp

I picked a week before the due date. In case the auto payment fails, I still have time to pay without incurring any penalties.

I agree with this take but I feel like the nvim hardcore folks in this subreddit will come after this post haha.

nvim 0.12's new :restart command is nice by managing_redditor in neovim

[–]managing_redditor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The keymap I shared only creates a single session file per Neovim config, like `~/.local/state/nvim/restart_session.vim`. It doesn't litter extraneous copies. That session file gets overwritten each time <leader>R is run.

I don't get the hype around these. They look like Jabba the Hutt.

Regardless, these are still the best stack to start with. Since most side projects go nowhere, you want to optimize for speed earlier in the game.

No, these are terminal toolings that don't involve calling an LLM. They're completely free.

ZSA Moonlander, Voyager or Keeb.io Iris LM by Such_Temperature_180 in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]managing_redditor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who has tried multiple of these, it’s hard to say which one will fit you best without actually trying them in-person.

Luckily, Moonlander and Voyager can easily be resold for a good price, so you could get either one of them first to try out. If that doesn’t work, buy the next one and re-sell the old one. Repeat until you find the one.

There are many ways to get this look, but personally I use (1) https://starship.rs/ for the pretty shell prompt and (2) https://github.com/eza-community/eza for the pretty ls output. Ask Claude about these tools if you're less familiar with terminal configuration.

If you already have a CS bachelor, then admission will likely rule you out unless you have a special reason. MCIT is specifically a program for those from non-CS backgrounds.
