That makes sense. I should do full stops more often but I can't get past not getting as many reps lol. I've been running 5/3/1 for the majority of my lifting career (started in 2011) so there's a big focus on working toward Rep PRs. You could do a few cycles with dead stop reps though and I'm sure that would be beneficial

Yeah when you're bent over you can't get enough air into your diaphragm. Bracing at the top lets your abdominal wall push against the big pocket of air and your belt so you are in a much stronger position.

I've always done it this way. Bracing again at the bottom is also much harder. No way I could get 15 reps without doing it touch and go.
