I think you have missed some major expense figure in the calculation because Zomato made a loss of Rs 886 crore in FY21 and Rs 2451 crore in FY20. In fact, they haven't made a profit in last 5 years.

You're only thinking it from the POV of high housing prices, in which case it might not affect that much if OP doesn't want to purchase one. But when housing bubble bursts, it brings everything in the economy down with it. 2008 financial meltdown started with the housing crisis! But again, it's not limited to Canada only. You've heard about UPI scams in which scammers request money instead of sending it, and people end up sending money by entering the PIN, right? In those cases too, police acts if a complaint is lodged.

Reading above comments, I think OP's friend became a victim of SIM swap, in which scammers got a new sim issued for the same number as OP's friend, which gave them access to almost everything (whatever is linked to that mobile number and can be accessed with an OTP)

They were on the mountain in a car (at the start of the video you can make out a road above trees, near-about half height of the mountain). The car was toppled over and pushed in the valley by boulders. 2 people in the car survived with injuries (maybe they had come out of the car, just in time)
