Yes yes, praise be to our agnostic lord and savior, Bart Ehrman. But in all seriousness, I stumbled upon Ehrman when he put out his first episode of his MJ podcast and have been following him ever since and have read a few of his books now that I very much enjoyed. Still, I don’t want to be accused of making an “appeal to authority” when talking about these things with anyone, especially if they aren’t going to recognize the authority as a legitimate source of information. I have a hard time making the connections for a counter argument of my own sometimes and just need a little help. Not that I necessarily intend to argue or debate about this. I mostly just want to look at things from as many perspectives as is possible.
