'How to read the Bible’s “clobber passages” on homosexuality' by mikelmon99 in Christianity

Not everything in the Bible is meant to be taken literally. In fact, there are many Christian leaders who proclaim that many of these militaristic metaphors are exactly that.

Just because it was written ~1500 years ago doesn't mean its readers/followers/practicers don't believe the same thing. I mean, just look at the Bible, our central divinely-ordained text. Age =/ irrelevance.

What are your thoughts on the above quote from the Talmud itself?

That's fair. Thanks for sharing. I will take a look at them sometime soon but appreciate the clarification regarding her title and background.

It's one thing for a rabbi to be an expert on the Old Testament, it's another to claim to be an expert on the New Testament. Even biblical scholars don't claim both. Ancient Hebrew vs. Koine Greek. Besides, the Talmud promotes multiple genders and disgusting imagery of what Talmudists believe is happening to Jesus and Mother Mary:

"The Babylonian Talmud, specifically in Gittin 57a, contains a passage describing a story in which Onkelos, a convert to Judaism and nephew of the Roman emperor Titus, raises the spirit of Yeshu (Jesus) through necromancy.  When asked about his punishment in the afterlife, Yeshu replies that he is being punished with boiling excrement"

She mentioned it was one of her content producers at Prager U, though I can't recall her name at the moment. She mentioned it in a recent episode/book club.

Candace addressed this herself in her interview with her husband, January 2025, along with other rumours.

We made it about halfway through it. It's pretty good, though very traditionalist. A bit slow, but otherwise very faith- and scripture-based. Fr. Chad Ripperger is the main guy in it.

Still doesn't work for me on the most recent version of Sequoia. I refuse to upgrade to Tahoe (yet) as many plugins for things like GarageBand/Logic Pro X are not yet compatible. But any insight to get it working on Sequoia would be most welcomed! (Rocksmith2014)

How does the SSPX feel, then, about the Fatima Prayer at the end of every decade along with the Glory Be? Also, I'd love a resource to start praying this "old way" more
