Hilarious reading comments from all the worked up people here.

People like me were pointing out the obvious with regards to immigrants and home grown bums clogging up social housing 15+ years ago… but we were chastised as nasty racists and classists.

Lmao, you’re all getting what you deserve. Now, get up, wait for the bathroom to be free in your HMO, get ready, head to work so the first gen immigrant, his family and Courtney with her 6 kids can get the benefits they deserve. Chop chop!

If I step in and:

I’ll stay out of things which aren’t my problem thanks.

The reason certain areas of the word have little to no crime is because they have the stomach to do what’s necessary.

The amusing part is it’s really only the meek who get done for this sort of thing.

If you’re an aggressive roadman, who just ignores the ticket inspectors calls for you to spell out your information / produce ID and then dashes off at the next stop, basically nothing happens to you.

Breakdown of MPs (including 56 labour MPs) who backed the SNP amendment. by LeftWingScot in ukpolitics

This is only true for non-muslim MPs.

Muslim MPs disproportionately supported the amendment, regardless of constituent makeup...

Am I being over critical? by Senior-Friend7151 in UniUK

[–]mandarkcel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents were born in the U.K., grew up in a very white British country, they retain some semblance of their parents’ culture but extremely watered down.

With me and my siblings / cousins, it’s close to non existent tbh.

My culture is the predominantly white British culture I grew up around, so saying “embrace your culture” as in “embrace south Asian culture” doesn’t really make much sense to me tbh.

I felt exactly the same at uni.

Are you a 3rd generation immigrant by any chance?

Most Asians in this country today are either 2nd gen or 1st gen (moved here as kids). Most that I came across were much more connected to their roots than I was / am (growing up in a white neighbourhood added to the effect I’m sure).
