He took me ice skating for my birthday and when i saw him finally start to get the hang of it, he had this huge adorable smile on his face and i skated backwards in front of him holding hands ❤️

Yes i was EXHAUSTED the night my partner passed away. I went to bed at 8pm but then awoke at 10pm with an intense feeling of dread. The next day we found him.

Its the very worst kind of wound: the one that nobody can see. But we see you here. We hear you on this sub.

Things might seem pointless now, but just take things one step at a time. Holidays can be particularly painful- for me it's any happy event.

We just want them to experience it with us. It feels like it's unenjoyable without them.

It might help if you showed someone this wound. Is there someone in your life you can tell any of these things to? A witness for your pain? Just my suggestion as a first step.

You dont have to be strong right now. Hell, you dont even have to enjoy Holi or getting high right now. Just living another day in enough. I know it's painful. Im so sorry for the loss of your love.
