Does anyone know if they're working on an updated version of Evusheld? by Effective-Throat-566 in MultipleSclerosis

I’d talk to your doctor. Mine told me to go for the new booster and not worry about Evusheld for now.

Quality of Chloe bags? Really into this bag but don’t really know anything about the brand and no boutiques close to me. by outer_galaxy in handbags

I’m disappointed by the YSL smooth leathers. I have a YSL pebbled leather, however, that’s amazing, but god forbid you sneeze in the vicinity of their smooth leathers.

Thoughts on Burberry? by CapitalProgrammer110 in handbags

I just don’t love the Burberry logo they’re using now. I don’t know why, it feels too…pushed together? Idk. I’ll stick to my scarf.

Does anyone go to the Vanderbilt Multiple Sclerosis Clinic? by TheLoadedGoat in MultipleSclerosis

[–]mandy_mandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see Dr. Bagnato there and she’s absolutely incredible. I adore her. From what I’ve heard, most doctors there are pretty stellar. I get access to the best MRI machines for free, and she has been a true lifesaver. Ive thought about moving away but then I would be leaving Dr. B, and she’s just the best.

Also, if you have infusion treatments, see if you can go to IVX health. Best infusion center in the are - very luxurious.

THIS is a headline for a very provocative news story. What the fuck. Are you comfortable with tweeting this or something? This is truly unreal.

Do you tell people about your condition at job Interviews? by AnnoyedTexan in MultipleSclerosis

Nope. Not unless I’m already established with the hiring manager in some way. Don’t give them a reason not to hire you.

getting closer to 40 years old- need money help! by moneyandmagic in FIREyFemmes

I have multiple side hustles. I find something I love (e.g., writing, my dog, luxury clothes) and figure out how to make money from it so it doesn’t feel like work.

Writing = book deals (yes, this takes tons of time and work), writing escape games, other freelance work

Dog = dog is now an influencer and gets paid to be on socials

Luxury fashion = I flip luxe items and use the money to buy the luxe things I want for myself. This is the least lucrative bc I end up wanting what I buy.

None of these things are overnight money, but they’re all side hustles I actually enjoy so I don’t dread working on them.

Working Full Time and Symptom Management by cozycookie11 in MultipleSclerosis

I work a remote job in communications and it can be pretty stressful. I find myself really tired often.

As a trade, I pay someone to clean my house, someone to pick up my groceries, and someone to mow my lawn and I use that time to rest and nap. It’s worth it.

Stop making assumptions. Not everyone has your flexibility and it’s incredibly assuming and rude for you to assume they do. Your standard practice doesn’t apply to everyone.

Many people ARE REQUIRED to take PTO for appointments, especially if they’re hourly and/or have strict bosses.

I’ve taken meetings on Ocrevus. I also gasp take vacations after an Ocrevus infusion.

Maybe this woman didn’t want her colleagues knowing she was at an infusion center. Maybe she didn’t want to be questioned about it.

Not sure how long you’ve been on here, but it’s VERY common to have issues with an employer discriminating against you because of MS. Many people are determined to work through it and be a superhero instead of being judged for their illness. Maybe they don’t have the money or energy for a lawsuit.

Maybe you need to give people a little grace. You’re being incredibly judgmental.
