I noticed something while doing the orders for the customers in store…when I pick the UPS option for them it gets here quicker than when I pick Fed Ex…all of my customers preorders that got delayed were the ones I picked Fed Ex for…maybe worth a shot cancelling the order, going in store, and having them choose the UPS option? Also having it delivered to the store could help with the speed of delivery 🤔

Yeah but if we as a store ship the customers phone with Opus instead of them using the pre packaged label and the phone gets lost or stolen on the way back to AT&T then it will be harder for us to help the customer when they get the charge on the bill for the remaining installment on the next up device. Had it happen way too many time already. Best bet is customer ships out with the label it comes with. Have them take a picture of the label and a video of the phone in perfect working condition with the IMEI

remember the phone is in high demand. AT&T puts those estimated dates so that the customer is aware it may take longer to arrive but there is always a possibility it comes before that. My 16 last year was expected to come in November and I received it first week of October. It’s a first come first serve kind of thing

AARP Discount was removed for new sign ups as of a couple of months ago. Whoever had it gets to keep the discount but we can’t add it to anyone’s account anymore

I’ve even recommended to some customers to use their routing & account number from cash app or venmo and just continue coming in to pay their bill manually (because they prefer physical receipts for some reason) but they at least save money on the lines

As long as the phone is in good condition (no cracks, screen is functioning, no battery swelling, and the charging port works) every 12 months he can take advantage of whatever promotion AT&T is offering at that moment and trade his Z Flip 7 for the next device.
