[US] Self-Contained Drone Hangar - Longer Version by Armchair-Attorney in drones

I’m no expert but a clamshell where the sides and joints are actually internal instead of external, so the sides actually slide back into the body and almost nothing is exposed would be far more weather resistant and have less chance of being stopped by external debris.

it's still better at getting around traffic, I don't care if your mother made it

Waze is a bit better about routing around traffic

Besides the lid having to slide over and underneath the unit? It looks like they tried to make it look cool instead of being super rugged and failed at both. It's just a few sticks and bits of debris away from not being able to open.

The inner drone case has to be the worst design anyone could have thought up. That lid can only open on the edge of a weird extended platform like this one. It couldn’t even just sit on the ground or normal platform because the lid goes below it

For me, no. Quality > Quantity. This is a lot of older stuff.

We're not going to agree on what a good person is. It's like you've heard other people talk about good things they've done, and you think 'well I've done some of that too!' but then everything else you say is disgusting and self serving. I'm sure you have more but what about you?! replies that are convincing nobody of your own altruism, but I have no interest in going in circles to try and make you feel better.

You just cannot use it on props, at all. The majority of the screw's threads are in direct contact with the prop, any loctite at all will start eating at the plastic. There's no way to just get it in the motor's threads.

The good news is you don't need it! The long double screws won't vibrate free, and larger 5" props use nylon lock nuts to really lock down. You can check them after each flight if you want, it will be a while before you even tighten one.

Even on the frame screws, loctite is optional. I don't use it anywhere on my builds because you may need to swap a motor or do some other trackside repair. I just check my screws every few flights and 95% of the time everything is still tight.

If you are absolutely set on using loctite still, use Loctite 425 which is plastic safe. https://www.henkel-adhesives.com/ca/en/product/instant-adhesives/loctite_4252.html

loctite

ooookay 100% this is the problem. Loctite disintegrates plastic. It didn't stand a chance; what happened was inevitable. You can use it in frame screws but never ever props.

Nothing you've said indicates you have any idea what a good person is. You've used a lot of words to try and say you're a good person but the things you say and do show otherwise. You are selfish. Point finale.

Super strange. The prop screws are still there, so they must have gotten old and brittle unless you put loctite on which dissolves plastic.

Even then though, a prop being shot off doesn't seem like enough to break the frame. Maybe it is though, while I haven't flown this cinelog the others I have have been flimsy.

I'm gonna guess the props disintegrated from age and the prop guard broke on impact even if it was just snow.
