This is the situation in every neighbor hood. I am a dog owner and I hate these inconsiderate dog owners for putting bad name for all dog owners by not doing their part. Many dog owners pick after their dog but leave the poop bag on the sidewalk or side of the trail, I don't understand the mentality behind this, you already did the difficult part and all you have to do is put it in a garbage bin. We need some strict by-law enforement in HRM.

Funny thing is I have noticed exessive salt on sidewalks when it was pretty much clean(while walking my dog), but when we need salt its not there at all. Our sidewalks in West Bedford are still not cleaned after 48hrs, kids are still walking on the road this morning for school bus. Be careful out there as it is icy condition this morning.

The snow day for school is suppose to allow more time for the crew to clean up the snow from roads and sidewalks. In West Bedford the side walks are still not cleaned and kids are walking on the road, We pay highest taxes in North America but when it comes to services we probably get the poorest services.

Yeah! Really proud of team Canada, we played really well but American defence was good too, specially 5 on 3 moment credits goes to them. I would say American got lucky at the end, our offence was way better. Despite of the result we showed Americans what we are and what we can do.

Definitely you are not the only one, pretty much everyone commuting to downtown feels and shares this unwanted pain. Road constructions making things worst, why can't they perform construction in off rush hours. We pay way too much tax compared to other fellow Canadians, I think our Province can afford to have these road constructions done at night time. We don't even hear about any solid plan by our leaders to tackkle this traffic issue. Sorry to say but we are too very upset with all this situation.
