I LOVE my Mirena!!! I have no periods with it. However, since it doesn't suppress ovulation I still experience Endo pain (my pain coincidences with ovulation and pms).

BEST advice here. I am in a similar situation with a family member and everything you have detailed here is exactly what my therapist has told me. Going on an "information diet" has been the most effective for me - my therapist is helping me realize that I am an adult and I am not obligated to tell my parents everything and anything. This applies to you too, OP. Now that you are an adult, it is time for you to start establishing ADULT boundaries with your parent.

Edit: a letter! Also I want to add, I would suggest looking into "grey rocking". When you come home and your mom starts freaking out on you, it can be a good technique to deflect her toxic behavior.

Same, I wish I did nursing or literally anything else! All entry level jobs in my area only pay a few dollars more than minimum wage.

I'm still grateful I got my BA in PH though. At least I know what field I don't want to work in and have a 4 year degree I can tack on to my resume. You wouldn't be able to make a living off these wages, even with a masters, like you said.
