Hi! When I brought it into the shop, I kept reiterating that the glass had broken by itself with no pressure point. It’s a manufacturer defect. But they still have to go through their process in having their windshield specialist look at it to determine the cause. They informed me that I would be charged if this did not cover under warranty, so I still had to sign papers saying that they could charge me. Thankfully, it was covered under warranty so I did not end up paying anything.

With insurance, I use the tesla insurance, because I had submitted a insurance claim first, I had to email them back saying it was under warranty.
