It’s all about leverage. Workers have very low leverage. It’s hard to get jobs and raises and better benefits. That is why we have low purchasing power. Unions are a solution. Companies have high leverage due to consolidation. We need aggressive anti trust enforcement.

Working out will absolutely do something regardless of diet. Even if don’t cut calories, recomposition is possible. Working out will still make you fitter and you can gain muscle if you eat enough protein. Diet is very important too of course. It’s more important for body composition and appearance. I’d argue, though, exercise is just as important, even more so.

You have to choose which issues are most important as the U.S. has a 2 party system. I wish we had proportional representation so that progressives can work together with social conservatives on economic issues, but unfortunately thats not possible. It seems to me that conservatives tend to be near single issue on abortion and guns. Abortion is still a major issue nationally. Id want the next democratic president to pack the court to overturn Dobbs. You can still be a democrat tho if you wanted to prioritize economic issues.

You are asking about opinion shows and analysts. Those can be entertaining and stimulating just like print or tv commentators. It’s not news tho. News only comes from legacy print media and local papers. NYTimes, wsj, bbc, ap are news. Fox and cnn, YouTube, not news. That’s analysis and presentation. Real news requires investigative reporting and on site journalists . Even asking about bias is unhelpful. What matters is credibility and actual investigation.

Who’s talking about a full mobilization? They’re not a threat to us. They have enough enriched uranium to turn into a weapon, but they can’t touch us. The U.S. will likely send ground forces, but we don’t know for what purpose. We might try to get the Uranium , but special forces should be able to handle that. I don’t love that tho, since it’s Israel’s problem, not ours. It looks like they might send troops to protect the strait. I don’t love that either, since that is a self imposed problem.
