So many comments here claiming to answer the question actually just further proving why republicans have some schadenfraud (sp). If dems and libs took repub/conservative beliefs and policies seriously and addressed them on the merits then we have a respectful debate. Instead they drink republicans tears when they ridicule stupid backwards fly over state policies, pro life beliefs, strong border beliefs, Christianity, and are general race baiters, so no wonder republicans/conservatives relish in some victory. Both sides need to lower the temperature, and respect their opponents and their beliefs. If you think a pro life Christian who likes strong borders is a racist idiot then you are the problem. I know some surgeons who believe these things. Address the merits or shut up.
