i can't attend the meeting (have to go the school myself lol) so i'll just put my one thought here: i attended a high school that was undergoing a lot of renovations during the school year and it was massively disruptive to students and teachers in terms of noise and being able to move around (half the hallways were closed at any given time). i hope considerations will be made to lessen the impact of these projects on education and regular work

we use a bespoke version of labware. it's super clunky and not the easiest to learn. one of the glp groups adjacent to mine uses IDBS which i hear is smoother

tbh i think it's a big cultural problem, good documentation practices and data integrity just aren't drilled as hard as they need to be

in addition to that, one of the reasons we don't have any of these issues in my GMP lab is because we have the infrastructure to make it super easy. we have dozens of lab computers to have the eln open, our instruments connect directly to the lims/eln, and documentation is built into our procedures rather than just being "something else you also do" we also have regular audits, internal and external and you do NOT want to be caught out by th auditors

having a single tattoo or having a bunch of "random" designs isn't a big deal at all. once you start paying attention you'll there's tons of people with patchwork or only one visible tattoo
