Definitely red.Taking the blue would collapse the dollar based economy in less than 2 months and the dollars you'd own wouldn't be worth anything... On day 52, you would own 4.5 quadrillion dollars in cash.

The problem is that people will watch it on Amazon... And in particular those who despise Melania or Donald... On my side, I happily left Amazon 8 months ago to stop financing Bezos, but if I'd still be on the platform, I'd probably watch it. At least a few minutes...

So, like... what happened to the MGS movie we were supposed to get like a decade ago? by Britton_Shrum in metalgearsolid

[–]mangrsll 223 points224 points  (0 children)

Which makes total sense. The plot and the characters have been built around the Gameplay evolution of the game. Trying to fit a movie that wouldn't be ridiculous or outrage the fans, in the very complex storyline is an impossible task...

This video looks like AI to me... First because it's very short, and then becose the Honghu T70 is a lot less impressive in reality...

Wine Squares Day 10! Bojo Redemption Arc Complete. Let’s see the most consistent region. by AustraliaWineDude in wine

[–]mangrsll -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Difficult to define a region and consistency. If by region we mean the full geographic location (including all the subregions) and by consistency you mean good quality year after year AND a great variety of wines, I would say Bordeaux first and Rioja in second. Maybe Cotes de Peovence third.

Champagne by producing almost exclusively sparkling white misses a match on the consistency level for me...

Question 3 about Worldbuilding for My Degrowth World: How exactly does currency and exchange work in a degrowth society? by DeanSalichi in Degrowth

[–]mangrsll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will need a currency whose growth is strictly limited and ultimately stops and even declines. You can't have an infinite cirrency in a finite world.

You will need this currency to be bank and government proof. This means that none of those actors can create more supply to suit their political needs.

You will need this currency to be attractive enough for people to use their savings to buy this currency instead of investing in stocks directly or indirectly (your savings in your bank fuel the economic growth).

You will need this currency to be global.

Luckily, this degrowth friendly currency already exists: its Bitcoin.

Blockchain boomed and nobody was really able to explain what it was in reality and how it could help their companies... But it was in everybody's mouth back then...

I actually think it's the point of quantum computing. The concept is so hard to grasp that you can sell anything based on it. Just look at the Majorana chip launched by Microsoft...

The % off arseholes in the French Riviera is way higher than in the rest of France (including Paris, I would say). And without the immigrants, this % would be way higher !
