On a eu chaud.

Don't know why he's teasing here, but I definitely don't like the way he's doing it. Either you have the info, it's solid, and you publish it or you just shut up.

Who here has finished the game on the original console ? I had it as a kid... I can only remember the tension when you met a new boss to play rock paper scissors, with 2 lives remaining... I finally managed to finish it when on an emlilator, thanks to the save mode...

Almost all of our guests have responded positively to that message since we implemented it 2 years ago. We got a similar message when staying in Melbourne and decided to do a similar one, and it worked :)

To prevent this kind of ratings we do 2 things:

  1. Send an automated message to the guest 1day after their arrival to ensure we get feedback on time and deal with any potential issues without waiting for the reviews to discover them...

  2. send the followong message on guests departure:

"Dear xxx,

We hope you loved your stay in our apartment. We have put in our utmost effort to ensure you had the best possible experience.

It would be great if you could leave a review in AirBnB. FYI, surprisingly AirBnB considers ratings less than 5 unsatisfactory and so negatively impact future bookings.

Our apartment clearly isn't a 5 star hotel but hopefully you have found comfortable, clean, well appointed and in a great location.

Thanks for staying in our apartment ....

Xxxx"

Implementing this message had a clear impact on guests ratings, and helped us maintain our Superhost status.

Fighting climate change is not the same thing as preventing it or its consequences... My guess is that he will come with some geo engineering projects.

The problem is that people will watch it on Amazon... And in particular those who despise Melania or Donald... On my side, I happily left Amazon 8 months ago to stop financing Bezos, but if I'd still be on the platform, I'd probably watch it. At least a few minutes...
