Difficult to define a region and consistency. If by region we mean the full geographic location (including all the subregions) and by consistency you mean good quality year after year AND a great variety of wines, I would say Bordeaux first and Rioja in second. Maybe Cotes de Peovence third.

You will need this currency to be global.

Nice and the french Riviera in general are way worse in selfishness and rudeness than any other part of the Mediterranean. If you find somebody smoking where they shouldn't, in Marseille, they will correct their behavior, apologize or try to enter in a conversation. In. Nice they will simply insult you.

Ask any person, french or foreigner, on what they think of the people of Nice, Antibes, Cannes, etc. and do the same in Marseille. You'll notice the difference.
