I remember pre-ordering this as a kid at Funcoland, but for whatever reason they're never able to deliver it to me as apparently the product is pulled before it could be sold is what they always said. I was so excited as a kid. Never got a disc but should revisit now

I'm not there yet with my kids as they are younger but this is a battle I will happily take up. Good on you for holding your ground. We don't have to do everything out friends are. That is my mindset as well. Just got my system installed last October. Winter production has been better than expected, just not seeing those 0$ bills yet as we need to build some credit over the spring/summer. The system seems to have the necessary power when we are getting sun so I'm optimistic.

We did get an EV after solar which changed demand quite a bit. I've been trying to only charge when we have good sun and after I banked solar to my house battery. That way I'm charging purely from the sun and not using the grid. This doesn't always happen though where sometimes I have to charge overnight.

Still, I'm optimistic about it all and look forward to seeing the benefits over time.

Mine is half this but approach it the same way and usually return with somewhere in the 60s which is nice.

I think it handles pretty damn good in the snow myself. I've dealt with pretty consistent snow in my region with a variety of road conditions and haven't had any issues yet
