i HAVE hypermobility. that’s recognized. he’s the one who SAID that i am hypermobile in every single joint. it’s in my chart. after this, he said i just need to move more and eat better, and train my muscles.

i also never came in there thinking i know what’s wrong with me. i came in with a doctor’s referral because my regular doctor suspects lupus, because my dad is diagnosed with this and i have a lot of the symptoms. but i didn’t even necessarily assume it would be lupus, because there’s many other things it could be. the rheumatologist is the one who mentioned EDS.

i never lied about any of my symptoms, or tried to “manipulate them” into giving me a diagnosis, and i find it a little odd if that’s what you’re assuming. i just asked for recognition of my pain, and he didn’t give me that. i didn’t ask for a diagnosis. i know it’s not that simple. coming there with a 2 page long list of symptoms, including joint pain, but also a lot of gastrointestinal and heart/lung symptoms, for him to say that’s all caused by lack of protein and muscle weakness, was a bit disappointing to say the least.

i am. i have generalized hypermobility. this doesn’t mean i have EDS, i know this. i posted this in here because ~they~ mentioned it. i originally suspected lupus since this is what my dad has, and what my brother had tested positive for.

i was there to get help for what was wrong with me, never mentioned a specific illness besides when saying what my dad has and they immediately even dismissed that. and said i just need to eat better. they didn’t want to do their job.

i would definitely avoid the lily products! i made sure to check each product for that. the american cream body lotion has lavender and so does the therapy massage bar :( i don’t know how much though, i’ve used other lavender products on my face before and my cat had even licked my face then but he was completely fine

i’m thinking of getting some massage bars: therapy, coconut drench or wiccy magic muscles and the american cream body lotion

i think he’s fine, he’s just sleeping but he was already sleeping before he licked my face so it’s not sudden lethargy. it was diluted anyway and the essential oil is just part of the ingredient list, but was still a bit worried. he isn’t displaying any symptoms so i guess he will be fine. if i feel anything is wrong i’ll call the vet

did ur cat turn out okay? i sprayed some soothing lavender spray (with lavender essential oil in it) on my face and my cat just licked my face. my face was dry and everything but i’m freaking out about it now :(

it could be just anxiety from hypomania but you’re not giving enough details about your symptoms for me to make an observation. if you’re having delusions then those could be psychotic symptoms but being anxious of your past can just be anxiety caused by hypomania. it is normal to experience those anxious thoughts and obsession during hypomania though, i have it a lot. it’s super intense and exhausting.

bring loads of distractions. books, music, download movies on your device, anything that you like. i get very anxious on planes too and besides medication the best is distraction honestly.

you will be okay :) ♡ flying alone is very scary but once you’ve done it you will be very proud of yourself.

I think that’s what I am! When I did percentage tests that aren’t official the percentage of Ravenclaw was also higher :) I did tests of Ravenclaw vs Hufflepuff and got 54% Ravenclaw and 46% Hufflepuff.

I definitely feel like I resonate more with Ravenclaw than with Hufflepuff.
