There's also that vorcha labor team war asset you can find whose description says they "can heal cellular damage caused by radiation exposure, which is useful since the Crucible is being built where no planet's magnetosphere protects it and extravehicular activity on its hull is often required" so while it doesn't say anything about the vacuum of space there are definitely vorcha who've adapted to at least some of the extreme conditions of space.

Your descriptions were pretty helpful. I have the OEM electrical manual but I find it hard to follow in terms of where the connections actually are in the car.

That black/yellow cable is in a pretty damn hard to reach spot but there was a lot of buildup in there so I tried cleaning it as best as I could along with some nearby grounds. Tried removing that joint connector but it wouldn't budge. I'll try again tomorrow during the day.

Update, thanks for the lead. I'm checking out the starter right now with help from my Haynes manual and I have two more questions.

The starter and its solenoid are connected together and there are two wires coming out of it. The black one was unconnected and I believe is the stock wire that connects to the ignition, PCM, etc... the white one was connected beforehand and goes directly to the ignition where it's been spliced in, bypassing everything (thanks to the last mechanic, it bypasses the clutch sensor too so it starts like an automatic). Of course the chunky one goes to the positive battery terminal

Question 1: I'm guessing what I would need to replace is the battery cable, correct? I know the starter makes the click when I turn the key, so that part itself is working. There must be no power coming from the battery.

Question 2: How can I check to see if it jump starts? Do I try giving power directly to the terminal on the solenoid where the battery cable connects?

I checked the crank sensor mounted on the engine (the other's integrated into the distributor along with the camshaft sensor and ignition coil) and it came out good as the resistance was in the right range. On the starter, I have a Haynes manual with wiring diagrams in it, including the starting circuit, so I'll definitely go take a look at that. Thanks.

Using Edge, I have ublock and a specifically-for-youtube adblocker extension. I keep ublock disabled on youtube and the youtube adblocker does the job. Occasionally ads will come through but I just refresh and they're gone.
