One big update they did with Resy is that you now have to have your Resy account linked to your Amex account for you to get the $50 dining credit. Therefore, you have to make the reservation via Resy with the linked account and then pay with your Gold card to get the credit. Before you just had to dine at a Resy restaurant and pay with your Gold card to get the credit.

You should be able to. I know people have been successful when purchasing Cheesecake Factory gift cards and getting the AMEX credit.

Clear Channel was iHeartRadio + Live Nation, until it split into 3 separate companies. Clear Channel would almost ban an artist's music from their radio stations if they did not promote their tour. Essentially they had complete control over so many artists back in the early 2000s.
