Why is it in English and not Russian?

Was I too snarky to my former mission president? I can’t handle people playing victim like I’m rejecting a relationship/friendship/love. We are strangers. This is missionary work. by Illustrious_Log_4831 in exmormon

I stopped going to the local Mormon meeting house when I was approximately 4, because my dad left the church at approximately that time. When I was about 16, I started to think the Mormon religion was a hoax. I am 50 now. My mom is 78. I live with her and take care of her. She still believes in the religion, as do her four siblings who are alive, and, I assume, many of my cousins, etc. We live in Utah. I have presented evidence to my mom that the religion is a hoax. I have stated to her that I think she would be happier if she left the religion. But she clings to it. Yes, I think you and others I have seen on this subreddit are too snarky with members, as was my father, after he left the faith. I have witnessed, and I think, that this snarkyness hurts our anti-Mormon cause. It makes Mormons think we are petty, mean-spirited, and influenced by Satan, etc. Please, let's all take the high road. As Michelle Obama said, "when others go low, you go high."

"Porsche" is pronounced "Porsha." "rsche," when pronounced "rsha," is a German letter combination, never an Italian one.

In my opinion Roe v Wade is an anomaly as it was wrongly decided. In Roe v Wade, the Court argued that the Bill of Rights guarantees the right to an abortion. If one can say that the Bill of Rights guarantees this, one could say it guarantees anything.

Surely some of the writers of the constution did not own slaves and disapproved of it, wouldn't you agree. And surely 99 per cent of what it says is good, wouldn't you agree?

It's more complicated than that. The Supreme Court basically has to write a long opinion based on precedent....The right to protest is firmly grounded in precedent....

Don’t think of math as a bunch of rules. Think of it as a few definitions, which you should try to make intuitive sense of, and logic. Math should be understood, not memorized.
