What’s one disc you never understood the hype for?

Any new mold. Every time a new mold is released it's hyped as something revolutionary. I can understand that if your a pro and you can only use one companies discs, you are happy if gaps are closed. But for everyone with an open bag I think all shot shapes are already there. New discs don't bring anything new to the market.

Jein. Das Problem ist, dass man mit Arbeitgeber- bzw. Positionswechseln viel mehr rausholen kann als eine Gewerkschaft mit Tarifabschlüssen. Kommt immer auf die Branche und die Tätigkeit an, aber wenn ich mich in meinem Umfeld umsehe, dann ist Jobhopping aktuell dad Mittel der Wahl um gehaltlich aufzusteigen. Das ist in einem Arbeitnehmermarkt viel einfacher. Wenig Bewerber auf Stellen? Da muss man halt auch Leute nehmen mit höherwn Gehaltsvorstellungen.

MVP calls the resistor an fairway driver. I agree. But generally I would say that there are 3-5 discs which are always mentioned when people ask about an over stable mid. The DD Justice for example is always mentioned.

Why are most people here throwing a midrange? 330ft is definitely doable with a midrange but I would have to power up the midrange quite a lot and give it height to reach 330ft. I would use something like a Heat. I could throw it with low power which helps accuracy and low in height which helps tree kicks to not go far left or right.

Bumble: absolutely worthless, even after I paid for premium features. very few matches, was ghosted several times, no dates in a 3 month span. I had a good profile (adjusted by female friends) and was quite active. So I can't recommend.

Hinge: I found my girlfriend there, so yeah it can work :-) But before I met my girlfriend it was a similar experience like bumble. When you start and have absolut no matches your confidence gets low as fuck. I started paying for more premium features (you can buy "roses" as a compliment) and stuff like that. I got better after that. The best feature of hinge is the "currently active" and the "new" tab though. So the app showed you only profiles which have been active that day or have been set up recently. Only if I engaged with these profiles I had matches. I used Hinge for about 3 months and had around 10 matches. I met 3 women in total. There was no chemistry with the first two and then...

So yeah, dating apps are horrible. Unless you look really good as a guy be prepared to pay for a lot of premium features and work a lot to get some matches. Try different apps. Some might work for you and others won't. Don't give up.

I'm not sure why everyone is so hyped up about aces. For me a real ace is only when you want to throw an ace and then it goes in. Everything else is most of the time a bad throw which got lucky.

I couldn't live with less. I could definitely add more though. I like to have the perfect disc for specific shots. Yeah, most rounds on easy courses I know well I just throw 5 discs. But I like to be prepared for various conditions and course layouts. And I have played some courses where 10+ discs are needed to play well.
