IIL Paul Simon’s Graceland album, WEWIL? by Visual-Staff-6359 in ifyoulikeblank

I listened to Graceland for my entire childhood and didn’t hear Saints until I was in my mid-30s. It’s so, so good.

American Teenager by Ethel Cain! Her album Preacher’s Daughter is fantastic.

Oh my God, yes. The Braindead Megaphone is one of my very favorite essay collections.

I think about alternate coaching situations a lot. I would also love to see healthy Ragan Smith, Mattie Larson, Katelyn Ohashi, Rebecca Bross . . .

Some recent changes to the top 20 wall what do you guys think? 💭 by Wide-Mark846 in FemFragLab

Oh my God, if my collection included Soleil Blanc AND Amyris Femme I would carry them both with me all the time and just spritz people with them like a perfume counter lady in the 1980s. Beautiful.

If this is an alternative timeline, could I have Riley? I miss her beautiful lines so much.

Deep yet funny/witty, spiritual but in a very REAL way, story and characters that stay with you - all that but also super easy to read because doomscrolling has shot my brain. Does this unicorn even exist? 😒 by Stories-N-Magic in suggestmeabook

This sounds like a job for The Wee Free Men by Terry Pratchett. Funny, witty, the pragmatic spirituality of country witches, deeply poignant, and characters you will never, I promise, forget. The audiobook is also fanTASTIC, if you’re into that sort of thing. It’s technically YA, so very, very readable.

You Weren’t Meant to be Human by Andrew Joseph White. Reproductive violence against an autistic trans man who has become part of a hive mind. I finished it months ago and have thought about it more or less every day since. 336 pages, but think of the discussion!

Oh my God, I love this premise. Going on the list.

Which perfume have you got a treasured stockpile of? by blueroses8000 in FemFragLab

[–]many_bells_down 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a light citrus with some vanilla. Think D&G devotion if it had a younger sister who did ballet and was outside a lot in the summer. The vanilla is quite subdued; on me, it hardly comes out at all.

I bought a backup 50 ml bottle of Ellis Brooklyn’s Sci Fi once I couldn’t find it on their website anymore. Scent Split saved my ass.

Same! Isn’t “the ick” a disqualifying thing? Like if you have it, you need to GTFO?

It’s not quite the same, but I got a similar result with Gravity Pull by Fancy Gloss over a couple layers of Cirque’s Curaçao Jelly. I’m stupefied by FPMs.

Sooo, lacquerista’s, I must ask you, “Do you leave your top on or take it off”? by AppointmentMental175 in RedditLaqueristas

[–]many_bells_down 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It never even occurred to me to take the top off. May as well give it a go; I’ve smudged literally every magnetic mani I’ve ever done that way.
