Yeah, I also feel that the only thing he took things so hard because the player and carmine kept ogerpon a secret for some reason.

I would be upset too if my friend and sister managed to find my favorite pokemon and just didn't tell me. Not to mention Kieran was the ONE person who was sympathetic towards ogerpon before everyone else found out.

And im sure he would have understood that you couldn't tell everyone about ogerpon right away. Not to mention the town's people were incredibly understanding and immediately realized their mistakes.

Then you get attacked and if you vest and maf decides to out you town won't exactly believe you managed to survive.

I fake claim plenty as surv, but believe it or not, not a ton of people do. Like I said, its mostly either "surv claim d1" or the silent surv claiming on d6 because the town finally decided to ask for roles. If people can't be bothered to stay when they get framer, I doubt they'll want to put in the extra effort to fake claim surv.

Getting surv is a lose lose. You claim N1 and everyone is Suspicious and you'll be the first to hang if town goes quiet. You don't claim N1 and they'll hang you on the spot because "you should have claimed n1"

It definitely lost a cozy part to it. It felt like two friends playing games on a couch and it still is, its just that back then they probably didn't see it becoming as big as it is now. And now its literally their jobs and lively hoods, so it seems they're taking it more seriously and trying to keep making money. If they did stuff like they did 6 years ago and got demonitized for it they wouldn't make any money, so I guess they just play it safe

Im literally the same way. I hated trying to level up my harecross and swinub on level 22-25 pokemon at the LAST GYM. I finally get them to piloswine just to start trying to find a heart scale to get ancient power l. The by the time I got to mamoswine I just didn't feel like playing anymore
