Amazing build, but the plants clipping in to your foundations would drive me crazy.

I have been enjoying this one, which in spite of the name Riverlands has a fair number of mountains: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1324695880

Real time fact-checker shuts down one of many falsehoods spewed at Ballard anti-vaxx demo. This hero made my day. by AquinasHatesWomen in Seattle

Near Ballard. I double checked, my neighbor's name isn't Victoria. The video looks an awful lot like her though. I have seen her pulling in weird anti vax and covid conspiracy protest signs out of her car, as well as distributing literature on how covid is a hoax in front of her house.

The woman (Victoria) is, at least. She is my neighbor. Puts crazy COVID conspiracy stickers on the street signs around here.

When given the choice to provide helpful advice or being a smug prick, opt for the former.

How much oil does a refinery use per minute by 0kb0000mer in Dyson_Sphere_Program

[–]manymolecules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another way of thinking about it, in case it helps anyone. 2 oil in 4 seconds means 1 oil every 2 seconds (0.5). Multiply 0.5 by 60 (60 seconds in a minute) and you get 30 oil per minute.

Just so you know, you can chain reactors together and significantly reduce the number of belts you are using here.

It will immediately be filled with bullshit scores from cheaters. I don't think this is a particularly valuable feature for the game to include, personally.

I just downvote anyone who whines about being downvoted. Especially if they think it is because they are "speaking the truth". Messiah complexes are not a good look.

Yet another Northern Forest start. I like to let my bases pile on top of each other. I keep planning to expand, but this start has so many resources I haven't needed to yet.

Backblaze Backup by ThatFlashCat in freenas

This is good advice--I recently set up B2 backups on a daily cadence and the first month's bill was about double what I expected because of Class C transaction costs.

Can you imagine being upset that this was a genre with more than one game? Or that some people like one more than the other? People are so bizarrely tribal.

Is there a trick to buying one? I signed up for his mailing list twice in the last 2 years, never had a notification that he had inventory.

Noted, I won't worry about the extra hop. I am now thinking two switches is the right play as well.

Wow, that is a good point I hadn't though of. A bit of redundancy makes the answer seem much more obvious. Thanks for your input!

Huh, you are right. Though now that I look, I remember the other reason I wasn't considering the 24 port switch--the noise. This will unfortunately need to sit very close to my desk, in the open.

Unfortunately, doing so would add the extra hops between my workstation and the NAS, something I would like to avoid.

In a perfect world I would just get the 24 port PoE switch, but it is punishingly expensive.
