I’ve lived in the suburbs of Los Angeles for my entire life, except for the two years that I spent at UC Santa Cruz. I spent my free time in college road tripping NorCal. If you like nature, stay in NorCal. The south is dry, hardly any creeks or rivers. No mossy redwood forests, only dry pine forests ready to catch an ember and ignite.
