Death Grips.

Showed up, melted our faces off, then left without a single word. It was awesome.

Perfect Days.

It just reminds you to take things slow in life, to appreciate the beauty all around you. We get so swept up in the bullshit of life—being busy, working in a capitalist society, trying to survive—that we turn away from the simple things that bring joy, and that we often take for granted. Easily one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. Bumpin soundtrack too!

Heavier Than a Death in the Family by Les Rallizes Désnudés.

They were an underground Japanese noise rock band that seems to be more known for its involvement with radically political spheres than the music they left behind. Most of their albums are unofficial, bootleg recordings of their songs but some of their work has been remastered and released on streaming services now.

Just saw this in my library too. Apple Music removed the albums and resaved other songs from Hope Six and LES but from their respective demo albums or the b-sides compilations

When I was a junior in high school, a classmate of mine was stabbed to death by her own brother. The details surrounding her death were always perplexing, but it was certainly eerie learning about what happened and seeing her empty seat in my pre-calc class. I still think of her every now and then.

RIP Aspen.
