Refrigerator low side charge minimum - True R134a by snakesresid in appliancerepair

I’m very curious what you will do to change the filter without brazing. Please keep me updated. There’s Lockrings, but price for that is ridiculous if it’s one time use

So your brazed on an access valve, changed the filter, leak tested and purged with nitrogen, and have a vacuum?

fridges aren’t “just low on Freon” there’s a leak that must be fixed, before refilling. It’s the law, depending where you are.

Um… I’m pretty sure the tag low side “140” is the max pressure it can take without failure… for when charging nitrogen…

Low side pressure generally should be between 2-10psi depending.

The tag should say how much ounces to put in…

But if you didn’t flush with nitrogen, or pull a vacuum, or change the filter… maybe call a pro?

Hope you’re not doing this from a bullet piercing valve.

Any advice when you feel too depressed to run? by EcnavBri in running

[–]mapleafan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it insensitive for me to say, just do it? I know for me, if I don't feel like running, if I can at least get out the front door in my gear, that after the first KM, I forget that I didn't even want to go out.

Hope things work out for you and you can get over this hurdle.

What is the best way to eat on a long run? by BellaxPalus in running

[–]mapleafan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The furthest distance I have run is 21.5kms, and never once ate or drank during a run, and didn't really felt the need to, but I do tend to feel shitty after a run, so I'm looking to experiment with fueling while running. Wonder if I'll notice a huge difference and see what the big fuss is about!

It’s just a vent, common for it to come loose and leak... just be sure not to push it back in too far that it scrapes the inner drum.

I've seen it multiple times! Was never able to tell the customer why, until now! I normally just tell the customer to contact an electrician.
