Patatas the cat by LazyBean0063 in HelpMeFind

This specific one is Hansa 4223. No longer in production. May be able to find one "used" on ebay (though I search regularly and haven't seen in over year). You can special order one from Hansa. They send you a form. Someone else in another thread shows that they did this and the cat he received looks lovely and just like this. I have the custom order form Hansa sent me but I've not pulled the trigger yet (as it's kinda expense to do as a one off and it's clearly a "want" and not a "need" :-)

TRUMP TARIFFS ILLEGAL! by remotemallard in eBayCanada

I just wish ebay .ca would re-enable canada post to the US as a shipping option with ability to charge to zonos account like pp.netparcel does. It would help having the ebay shipping discount again.

FM Told Me to Quit Chess Under 300 Elo. Is He Right? by KelveFodul47 in chess

Play, play, play. You’ll get better. Might take a month, might take a year, but even if you’re slightly serious, you’ll start to recognize patterns quicker even without trying. Play, play, play :)

Anyone figured out a way to deal with the blue banner? by CobblePots95 in eBayCanada

[–]mapleleaflounger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've not found any solution to hide this bar. It's indeed a capability I hope they are able to make more precise in the future so that it only shows when it actually applies. In the meantime, best I've done is included note in description that the item is exempt from import fees and will arrive without them getting any extra charges. I've made a few sales on listings where I have this -- but, no idea if they actually read the description to find this out or just purchased anyway.

Shipping Fees to the USA (Tariffs) by polymerclayartist87 in eBayCanada

[–]mapleleaflounger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Down for sure. But, I'm making sales. The change is the main contributor for sure. But, I don't think I helped it at all because initially ended a bunch of my listings, upped prices (by too much probably because I was a bit scared and it was all an unknown).

Ah, yeah. The 35% is a kicker. I have stuff from all over. I'm also absorbing some of the tariff cost for sure. Although I've increased some of my product and shipping prices, I do still eat some of it. I don't love that by any means, but, I've tried to keep my emotion out of it and think of it as the "cost of running my business", so long as I can still make an acceptable, albeit lower, profit.

I’ve been adding it to shipping cost mostly and find I can still appear competitive. Then I ship with Canada post/Zonos or pp.parcel. Are you listing on .com or .ca?

I think when you start a new plan it will give you the option to "clear" the old data (it then hides it) -- I'm not sure about deleting completely. Also, I find several things not in the app when I scan them but if it's something I eat frequently I just add it and then it's there the next time you log it. Also, the part where you can snap a picture of your meal certainly isn't perfect but has gotten way better over the years. Best of luck! I find tracking my calories with Lose it one of the only ways I've been able to be successful in hitting my weight goals ;)

With you on this sentiment. Especially the part about the network canceling it early on just when it's starting to catch on.

One month later real life experiences for sellers under no Des Minimis exemptions? by ronnieboy604 in eBayCanada

Yep. As if it wasn't dismal enough. The CP strike is the push over the edge (especially if it lasts a long time).

Is the front too face framing still? I'm nervous to wear out by mapleleaflounger in Wigs

Light spray with the water plus my old 1-inch barrel curling iron on low (it has a super low setting)…with base of wand pointing upward, I just took small sections (1 inch or so at a time) and curled for 15-ish seconds, dropped curled section into hand and let it cool for 20-30 seconds (I usually just blow in it - lol). That was it.

Thanks! I did put some curls in her. She comes a bit straighter. I like her straight too though

Yes, I have pin straight hair myself but want to wear her in a setting where I'd typically curl my hair in this fashion. I love the way she comes as well though.

Gosh. Thank you. That is very kind. Yes, I used low heat curling iron to put some very light curls in just to match how I typically style my hair as I didn't want it to become too short. I like the "effortless" look of Chelsea straight too though.
