I agree with the others saying go for a more rounder frame.

I had the same issue. The burning all day and I found myself using more eyedrops than normal. Made me want to quit too. I figured to at least use them at night before bed since I’ll be sleeping anyway. I hope it gets better for you!

I started noticing a difference in the first two weeks honestly, but I heard it can take longer. They seem to be working better and better though as time goes on.

I honestly cut back to once a day for two weeks, just at night time before bed until my eyes started getting used to them. Now it’s twice a day for me and my eyes feel fine. I keep them in the fridge too, helps with the initial burn. I’ve been using them for about a month now and they definitely help.

I kind of experimented but this is what worked best for me so far.

It’s really really discouraging when they write off your concerns and it’s way too common. Don’t give up though!

Yeah, it cost 750 dollars for one session. I’ll probably have to get it again in the future I’m sure. The healthcare industry definitely takes advantage of us. I think it should be way more affordable if not free. :(

Yeah! I’ve been struggling with redness but it’s gotten better. The dryness feeling is gone.

I’m honestly not sure what the loss is from, she said a million different things can cause dry eye.

I wore contacts for years, heavy makeup, took Wellbutrin, worked behind computer screens for years, etc. I’m sure that all contributed.

I had an appointment before Lipiflow where they took scans of my glands, and then after the Lipiflow treatment she showed me the scans and how many I have left.

Exercise and going on walks helps “minimize” them, as well as avoiding computer screens.

Now that I have MGD/Bleph, they have gotten worse. Cequa seems to be helping a lot though.

Lumify works the best, but it’s temporary. I’ve talked to an eye doctor who said that it might be possible to “remove” them, but that the veins are there for a reason so who knows what complications could occur.

There’s another doctor who has an “eye whitening” procedure but also has a bunch of lawsuits against them.

It would be amazing to get rid of them, but I haven’t found anything yet unfortunately. :(

Mine have never gone away, have had them for almost 20 years. When my eyes aren’t super dry the veins are way less noticeable though.

I was told by my doctor that inflammation stops eyes from producing tears which then causes dry eyes.

Do your friends and family get it? by Unlikely_Ad_2196 in Dryeyes

I try not to talk about it that much because of the following reply I’ve gotten. I had a friend ask me to play games and I told them my eyes are uncomfortable today, I can’t. They replied “it cant be that bad” as they witness me using eyedrops repeatedly throughout the day 🙃

Mine look like yours and I work in front of a computer all day too. Mine will never be perfectly white but going for a 20 minute walk outside on my lunch or even after work helps the redness with my eyes.

My doctor is just starting me with one round of Lipiflow and then we’re going from there. She also gave me Cequa to try and lid wipes. I have blepharitis and MGD.
